Additional REQUIRED information

FERRY CROSSING TIME ASSIGNMENTS-IMPORTANT!

Immediately after breakfast Friday June 8 upon leaving Hickman, KY, we will cross the Mississippi River on the ferry.  Coast Guard safety regulations place a 150 passenger limit on each crossing.  Accordingly, we will need multiple trips to get everyone across.  There will be three crossing times offered:  7:00 AM; 7:45 AM, and 8:30 AM.  When registering, either online or on the paper form, indicate your 1st, 2nd, and 3rd choices from these times.  (Times are approximate and the ferry crew has the final say!) To keep trips in balance, once you have selected a time, it CANNOT be changed.  You will receive a color-coded wristband at check-in; you will only be able to cross at the time for that color.

REFUNDS/INSURANCE:

If you must cancel your registration prior to April 15, 2018, there will be a $75 processing fee.  No refunds for any reason after April 15, 2018.  Accordingly, you are encouraged to obtain trip interruption/cancellation insurance.  When registering online, you will be offered the chance to purchase coverage during the check-out phase.  If registering by mail, please check with an insurance provider of your choice for this important coverage.  One source with experience in bike travel coverage is McKay Insurance.  If you require medical treatment or ambulance services for any reason while on the ride, you are responsible for payment, and should therefore bring your insurance card and keep it with you on the bike.  While unlikely, if the required minimum number of participants for the tour has not been reached by April 15, 2018, Midwest Cyclotouring, LLC reserves the right to cancel the operation of the “Ride the Fault Line” tour for 2018, and registrant’s sole remedy in such instance will be the refund and return of registration fees paid.  Midwest Cyclotouring, LLC reserves the unconditional right to modify the tour route or itinerary without prior notice due to weather, road, river, or other unpredictable conditions.

Ride the Fault Line offers two registration methods:  online or by mail.  To register online, click on the "ONLINE"  link below.  Additonal processing fees apply.

To register by mail, download a registration form by clicking the "BY MAIL" link below, complete the form in its entirety, PRINTING LEGIBLY, and return with payment to the address on the form.
